My Top Tips to Plan a Perfect Tulum Sunrise Elopement!

  1. More time! Especially to do more things and go explore if you are in a different country or location. You can plan to get married as soon as the sun rises and have your photos taken. After that the day is yours! Planning a whole day with your honey! It’s a great way to start your day!!!
  2. Lighting, lighting, lighting!! I know we all love sunsets and they are beautiful but sunrises are just as beautiful and guess what you don’t use light which means… hahahaha more photos!!! You can still get some golden hour shots in the morning just as the sun radiates on you and your love! Also you’ll notice the light kinda dances when the sun is rising, it’s beautiful!
  3. Weather! If you are eloping in a tropical location mornings are cool and not hot. The temperatures in Tulum can climb pretty high throughout the day depending what time of year you plan to elope. A sunrise elopement always ensures a cool fresh clear morning to exchange vows! And you most likely will have clear weather even if you elope in the mountains.
  4. Crowds! Tulum really is the hotspot for elopements, especially in Mexico. It’s also a beautiful tourist destination. Which usually means crowds. However in the early morning you wouldn’t see many people out, you can really say it’s just you and your babe or both of you and your close loved ones. During this elopement, it really felt like we were the only ones at the beach. It felt private and intimate and no one was in the water either!
