Concepcion + Aziz
Concepcion and Aziz hold such a special place in my heart. Where do I even begin with this lovely couple. They have been there for me since the beginning. Literally! It all started with a cookie. Yes, a cookie! You know those kinds of cookies with beautiful intricate designs and special characters? Something you could totally see on a baking show! I messaged her because I was amazed at her work, and her being so incredibly wonderful took my last minute order and we’ve been friends ever since! And yes, her cookies were amazing!
Fast forward a few years, I started doing her little family’s sessions and got to meet her little girls and her husband Aziz. Our friendship continued to blossom, and her beautiful girls turned into my little nieces now. They mean so much to me. Their family is so beautiful and the love her husband Aziz and Concepcion have is nothing but inspiring.
So you can imagine how surprised I was when Aziz sent me a message about re-proposing to his wife. Yes you heard me right! They are married, but he wanted to re-propose to Concepcion! It was such an exciting and emotional moment for me, and I could only imagine how Concepcion would react! This was such a personal project for me and I couldn’t be more honored Aziz reached out to me to capture this loving moment!
Aziz shared that when he proposed to her the first time, it wasn’t well planned or as big as he had originally pictured. He wanted to do something special for their anniversary and proposing to her again the way he had always wanted to was such a romantic gesture. Fellas, take notes!
So of course, I was on board! It was so hard to keep it a secret from Concepcion and I know it was for him too! Aziz planned the whole thing and it turned out amazing. The look on Concepcion’s face was priceless, I definitely got so emotional for her. He rented a rooftop in Downtown Atlanta and planned a romantic picnic dinner. It was so beautiful and intimate! I’m so excited for their upcoming vow renewal. I just know it’s going to be a picture perfect (no pun intended!) I know I will definitely be there, invited or not!
So, remember guys! If you didn’t get to propose to your partner like you wanted or you guys’ didn’t get the wedding you wanted because of a variety of reasons, you can always re-propose like Aziz did with his wife Concepcion! Re-proposing or a vow renewal is a great gift idea for an anniversary! I have been seeing this more and more and I think it’s a beautiful act of love.
My husband did the same and we are having our vow renewal as a wedding we never got to have! And this time we can share it with our closest family and friends. Stay tuned! *wink wink*
